A luxurious first illustrated edition of Oscar Wilde's gothic classic, The Picture of Dorian Gray, with a unique French master binding crafted by Margaret Levy - black crushed morocco adorned with matt black, white, brown, and cream onlays in the shapes of a top hat with gloves and a walking stick with mounted brass knob. One of only 250 copies published but here one with a kind with this binding.

This decadent masterpiece is made even more beguiling with 7 full page engravings by Eugene Dete, based on drawings by Paul Thiriat. The first time Dorian Gray was illustrated. An exquisite example.
